Bolero is a video panorama in which viewers travel alongside a rowboat as it paddles to the marching-drum patter of Maurice Ravel’s Bolero up a broad river valley. Soloists float past in inner tubes one-by-one and are gathered into the procession. The video begins under water before tracking up to the surface, then later to the clouds and eventually into space where a trio of astronauts tinker with a warp drive.
