The Moment that Changed My Life Forever consisted of interior and exterior installations, a short animation, and a related artists book. The work was first presented at Art Palace gallery in Austin, TX, in 2006.
Inside the gallery, The Great Debate consisted of two drum-like podiums. Electronics in each podium created a variation of a feedback loop, audio feedback in The Orator, and video feedback in The Visionary. Trompe l'oiel shadows were painted on the walls and floor, radiating outward from The Visionary, which glowed internally, corresponding to the animation which screened outside.
Outside the gallery, Drive-In consisted of fifteen polycarbonate cars facing a looping projected animation, and an a glowing overpass that spanned the courtyard between two buildings.
