The Battle of Hickory Ridge was an installation at The Fresh Up Club in Austin, TX. The work consisted of nine model blimps, eleven planes, fifty houses, each made from cardboard and packaging tape, one hundred cast-resin cars, and a version of the Architect's Desk, a life-size cardboard desk with functional electronics, including a lightbox and controls for the gallery’s lighting. On the desk was a suite of drawings that viewers could peruse. The work was first shown in 2004.
